Easter Group Expo 2013 at the Higher Bridges Gallery, Enniskillen

The annual Easter Group Expo 2013 opens tonight (28th March, 2013) in the Higher Bridges Gallery, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh.  This is the second time I'll be taking part in the exhibition after being selected for inclusion in last years show.  The exhibition will include the work of over 50 artists from Ireland and Europe, it runs from 28th March until 27th April, check it out if you're in the area!

Unknown, an exhibition of paintings and drawings by Amy McGovern and Pauline Terry, opens on 12th April at 7pm in the Yeats Art Gallery, Sligo.  The exhibition runs until 26th April.  Don't miss it!

Not so new materials!

I love working on found materials when possible, a blank piece of paper intimidates me, so recently I've been working on some plasterboard I collected when we were having some home repairs.  The possibilities are endless - adding more layers or scraping back the surface layer to reveal the colours that had been painted underneath.

Hopefully I'll have these ready to exhibit in an upcoming 2 person show I'm showing in in the Yeats' building in Sligo in April.
