'Exquisite Corpse' Pop-up Exhibition Culture Night 2014

'Exquisite Corpse' was a two person pop-up exhibition for Culture Night 2014.  The exhibition takes its name from the Surrealist game 'Exquisite Corpse', a method by which a collection of words or images are collectively assembled.

Pauline and I used the 'exquisite corpse' method to create over 40 drawings in mixed media.  We also exhibited a selection of our own individual work.

Collaboration with Bon

A few months ago I received a message from Bon, a Roscommon based graffiti artist, asking if I would be interested in collaborating with him on a piece.  I jumped at the opportunity,  graffiti is an artform I've always admired and the chance to combine my watercolours and his stencils was too good to pass up!   This is the result of our collaboration...

Cork Art Supplies Award at Ross Fine Art OSE 2014

Amazing news!  In February, two of my pieces were selected for inclusion in the annual OSE at Ross Fine Art, Letterkenny.  A panel of judges awarded me the Cork Art Supplies Award for my works 'Untitled' and 'The Hut'. My prize is this great selection of Winsor Newton supplies...
